Pemberton's wet start to Winter is making our forest floors, tracks and trails flourish with our fungi friends!  The forests and paths are flourishing with little hats of red, orange, yellow and brown. Serenity House Pemberton offers cosy Winter breaks in Pemberton WA base to go looking for fungi.

Let us guide you with our local knowledge with our fungi field guides on our tried and tested fungi walks. In fact you can see the stunning red and white Amanitas right from our grounds! Just no touching and certainly no wild mushroom foraging nor cooking (in particularly no beef wellingtons)!


The appearance of our fungi, also means that our Southern Forest truffle season is also well and truly here. We have seen combined truffle hunt and food experiences and our fabulous Hidden River Estates Winery, Millgrove Truffles and Truffle Hill, with many cafes including our our Pemberton Hotel and Jasper's Pemberton offering truffle infused dishes.
