Amazing Apples in Pemberton WA
Autumn in Pemberton WA, is prime time for our array of apple varieties including Galas, Fujis, Pink Lady, Granny Smiths and our Shire's award winning Bravos available throughout the Southern Forests region during March and through to May. Roadside stalls and local markets are stocked with fresh, crisp apples now.
Wwith apples also comes apple juice and a personal favourite of ours, apple juice. Check out the Wild Beyond for their range of apple juices and award winning ciders.



Ride the Trails: Mountain Biking and Cycling Adventures in the Southern Forests
The southern forests have world-class trails and tracks for all abilities. For the kids, Pemberton has it's own BMX jump park and BMX facilities opposite the skate park, Adults can join join the Pemberton Cycle Club who meet every Sunday, Or for the adventurous there's our World Class Mountain Bike Trail or pick up the off-road Munda Biddi Trail (the longest Mountain Bike Trail In The World) outside of Serenity House. Bring your bikes or arrange to hire some from Pemberton General Store. Serenity House Pemberton has undercover storage facilities as well as a dedicated massage spa to sooth your post adventure aches and pain.
Take Advantage Of Warm Autumn Swimming Spots
After the Summer sun our dams and beaches are perfect for taking dip, especially after taking a walk around our stunning National Parks.
Big Brook Dam and the Pemberton Pool are freshwater pools, surrounded by magnificent forests, only a few minutes drive from Serenity House Pemberton. We are also under a 45-minute drive from spectacular coastlines and Yeagarup Dunes. Walk or Soar Through The Forest Canopy
Pemberton is home to some of Western Australia's most majestic karri trees, and there’s no better place to walk beneath their towering canopies. While the iconic Gloucester Tree remains closed for climbing (set to reopen later this year), you can still ascend the Dave Evans Bicentennial Tree for breathtaking forest views. For thrill-seekers, Aerial Adventures Pemberton offers an exhilarating treetop experience with ziplining, flying fox runs, and aerial obstacle courses—all just a 15–20 minute walk from Serenity House. We’ve also curated a selection of our favourite forest walks and lookouts in the guest books at both Serenity House and Serenity Cottage, so you can explore at your own pace.

Pemberton Tramway and Forest Waterfalls
Step back in time and climb aboard one of Pemberton’s historic trams—once vital to the region’s timber industry and now a must-do forest adventure. The 75-minute Pemberton Tramway journey winds through towering karri forests, over charming bridges, and stops at Cascades Waterfall, where you’ll have time to hop off, explore, and soak in the scenery. Along the way, your driver shares fun and informative stories about the area’s rich timber heritage. You can book a return trip or opt for a one-way ticket and walk part of the Bibbulmun Track back to town—an unforgettable mix of history, nature, and relaxation.
